croquembouche for the sweet tooth

I love cake! But...more than cake, I love croquembouche!
This French dessert consists of cream filled profiteroles dipped in carmel (and sometimes chocolate), which are then stacked into a magnanimous cone shape.
And, as if these sweet treats weren't decedent enough, the golden tower is then drizzled with sugar or carmel or sugared almonds or macaroons...or ANYTHING YOU WANT!
